Together, with their immense love for Rastafari culture, the two entrepreneurs took the brand a step forward by opening another outlet at DLF CyberHub, Gurgaon, with a similar laidback vibe and exciting live music nights. Raasta also made its way to Khar, Mumbai in 2016, where it has enjoyed great popularity.
Raasta, brings alive the free spirit of the Rastafarian culture that has over one million dedicated followers across the globe. The funky lounge space interplays with green environs to create a place that transports you to the easy, lazy charm of the Caribbean islands. Raasta, as the name suggests, encourages the tenets of simplicity, love and freedom. The lounge pays tribute to the legendary talents of Bob Marley who made Rastafarian culture a part of the mainstream music scene and left an incredelible impression. Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix and Jimmy Cliff are among the others who have inspired the musical mix. Over the years, Raasta has been recognized as one of the top ‘go-to’ destinations for live music, with International acts like Apache Indian, Diana King, Robert Babicz, Betoko, Pete Oak, Levelz, Iseo & Dodosound – performing there to name a few. Raasta also hosts an annual music festival, the RagaDub music festival, which has had five enthralling editions, featuring both Indian and International headliners. The festival, spread across three days of pulsating music has its own set of loyalists.

In a first ever brand collaboration between a lounge and a fashion designer, Raasta tied up with Nida Mahmood, the queen of pop culture and kitsch to create a range of Raasta apparel. This has garnered a lot of popularity and will soon be expanding into a full product range as well.
